This are the examples i like and get the inspiration from. And of course this movie.Nice rock, and good start. You could stand to plant another few junipers in those pockets.

Sorry i wil not do that. I spent over 100 uur too figure things out and that also wasn't for free. Hope you understand.Wow!
Please make a video on how to do these!!
No idea, but it isn't a problem. The moss is already growing on the cement. That looks nicely made.
Do you know what the ph value is for this material?
Cool you where there jelle and thanks. I saw that on the movie about the airlayers, the ones i have are from Gijs Meboer. He trained them for rock planting only he had to cut them back earlier.Your rocks & pots have come a long way Ruben. Very well-done! Should get a pot from you one of these days. NOw to find a suitable tree.. Hm.. Nope. Don't have one yet.
Iwas there when the Kimura video was shot. one of the main things he let us know was one trick: He uses airlayers for the junipers. That is how he gets the very small rootballs. Also see http://www.growingbonsai.net/opening-of-world-bonsai-convention-saitama/
Jelle.
Wow that is Kick Ass !!! Great job would love a tread on how you made that.Started this project this year.
I made the rock myself from aluminum cement. Found a nice pot at bonsai plaza.
And started planting the bottom, in spring i will plant the other tree's. Have to do some root pruning on those.
Hope you like it.
