Maple ID??

Can anyone give me an ID on this maple? I was thinking maybe Bloodgood?? Neighbor is going to trim it this weekend. I asked if I could take some cuttings got the go ahead to take as many as I want.IMG_0521.JPG IMG_0524.JPG

Hard to say could be blood good,emperor one or just a red seedling,is it grafted?

Could also be Fireglow or Trompenburg but I doubt the last one. Fireglow and Emperor 1 tend to be more shrubby when young but Bloodgood could also be when that small.

Yeah didn't really think so, I was just trying to think of common upright red leaf ones that aren't weird dwarfs... I have an Emperor 1 that I thought was Bloodgood until the original owner told me it wasn't. It's really hard for me to tell the difference..

From a bonsai perspective, is there much difference between Bloodgood, Emperor, straight red, etc?

Good point. Fireglow or emperor would probably have smaller internodes and smaller leaves, but the differences might only be slight...
