The lower trunk of this tree twists around in an interesting way. It was nearly dead and in a "discount rack" at a local garden centre during a time of year when no one in their right mind is buying bougainvillea. I got it last September and cut it back to nothing. It has started to grow and flower in an accidental cascade form. I know this will be years in development, but does anyone have any suggestions for where I can take it from here?

I see an interesting tree.

I'd be keeping the 3rd photo as the front and turn it into a cascade.

Id like to see you get it all within the frame of the first picture....

Then I saw that first branch.....

Wonder if sometime down the road you can't cut it all the way back to there....
As the rest of the trunk is kind of boring.

Semi if cascade.

I dig this one too!

That may be the best option, as the trunk further up is rather straight with some slight inverse taper.
