Japanese Maple clump almost fully leafed out.
These three branches were air layered off the same landscape tree. When I removed from the landscape tree, I cut extra branch length and inserted them like dowels through holes drilled in plywood. Over the next three years, the roots above the plywood fused in a grow box. I potted this up last year.
