5 years ago, I bought a house. And this was the first time I had a garden. A part of it looked like this:

Then, almost by chance, I begun my bonsai journey, with a gifted chinese elm.
5 years later, I'm a bonsai addict, and my garden looks like this:

I want to thank this forum for these achivements, because it was here (also a bit on youtube) where I learned all (sure, not much) I know about bonsai. There are a lot of skilled and good people here, that have been very helpful (sometimes indirectly when answering other's questions, sometimes explaining their own actions,.....). I hope to give back (as little as it can be) through my interaction on this forum.

This is amazing. I'm curious about how far into your bonsai journey were you when the vision for this began to form in your mind. My head is full of various abstract ideas which have dramatic variation from one to the other. What was your process for developing such a fantastic design?

There was no vision. Just a need of more trees.

In the beginning, it was simple. One bonsai (my chinese elm) and some garden plants

Then, acumulation of pots begun:

and suddenly I needed to build benches:

But with benches, acumulation growed and I needed to use ikea tables

and then , more tables:

Then the bonsai area had to grow, because the layers, seeds,.....

And now I'm trying to stop by gifting trees to whoever says they like bonsai.....

Psssst! Hey! Over here!
"I like bonsai."

But seriously, it's very nice, and the trees are something to strive for. I don't know that I'll ever have space for as many as you have, but it's a good dream.
