I don't think there are large numbers of illegally imported bonsai trees from Japan. For myself I don't worry about it to be honest.

Thanks for posting! I’ve always thought 1 gallon pots didn’t past the eye test. I just learned that a 5 gallon bucket is actually 7ish...

I believe that the only thing that exceeds the level of volume exaggeration of a nursery pot is the Texas ten gallon hat.
