I don't know if Coffee is a good candidate for bonsai but I'd like to try. I bought a small container of seedlings about this time last year. I received a 4" pot with 12 young shoots. I seperated all the plants and transplanted them into their own individual pots. The very small plants did not respond well and died almost instantly but I ended up with 3 decent plants. 2 I left outside under shade and one I brought into the house and left in a window. That one gew the fastest but died. These are the two I have left. The dead tips is a result of the cold last winter.
