I'm coming up from Atlanta, vending handmade bonsai containers.

Hope to meet you there.

Make sure you take time to visit the Choakia Mounds State Park. Have many artifacts from around 1000 ad, including pottery.

I will see if I can get my nephew and his wife to babysit my wife so I can go to the show. He lives in Waterloo,IL.

Also there is a distillery in Columbia, IL.

Shout out to all the St. Louisans. This is practically right across the river.

Do you have a flier or a club link I can link to? The only thing I can find is a Facebook page...

I'll put it up on the front page of the site.

I’ll be there on the 21st for the Japanese maple workshop with bjorn. I’m excited! My first workshop. Can’t wait to see all the trees!

There was a link on the ABS site, I think where you could print off the whole program. I printed it off of there.

Here are the details. It may be a little hard to read, because the background is gray.

Good for you, all of his workshops, with the exception of the "Bring Your Own Tree" are sold out.

I just put the dates in my calendar. If no urgent conflicts come up, I'll be there. I have relatives in Saint Louis, so I'll stay with them an commute. Meeting Todd Schlafer and Ryan M Bell are definitely two of the Seminar presenters I would love to meet. The whole line up is exciting. Almost too many good Seminars and workshops at the same time. It will be hard to choose just which ones I want to see. Glad to see there will be an LED talk, I need to spin up on LED technology. Last time I seriously looked into LED they were ''not ready for prime time'', back in 2010-2012. LED have come a long way since.

Is there a lot to do on the Illinois side of the border? Missouri is a No Go Zone (#7) for me.

There is the Cahokia Mounds State Park, this is the site inhabited by mound builders of the Woodland period from about 1000AD. At the time the population was greater than London. There is also Woodhedge, a recreation of a Solar calander that they used made of wood instead of Stonehenge.

Fort du Charte in Prairie du Rochelle, this was the capital of Upper New France. The fort was rebuilt during the 1930’s by rage CCC. The powder house, although repaired, is the oldest building in Illinois. The town has several homes from the era. They also have many activities throughout the year.
