Very nice work, Smithy. You've got me thinking again about starting a few larches... Welcome to Bonsai Nut!

Nice work, larch are great trees. Welcome to bnut. Was this wired recently? Do you have pics of it with foliage since it was wired?

Where did that drastic movement near the soil line come from? I am having a hard time seeing it in the first pic. Thanks and great tree!!

Thanks for the welcome . Good to see you Chris.

Here it is after its first chop

Then left to grow free

Then it was wired and left to grow free so the deadwood would stay in place.

I disagree with you. ;) Think of it as spirited discussion. Nice Larch. I like the movement.

It's pretty simple and easy to stay out of the arguments, at least it is for me.... Just look for pictures in the posts, if it's a lot of words, no pics.... skip it!

I don't often post here, but this is quite a beautiful tree! Excellent execution! I rarely see a windswept tree that I like, but this little larch here is extraordinary!

Cheers!

Sometimes trouble comes looking for you,. depending on who you have p!$$&d off. Most of the time it is a pretty pleasant place.

Very well executed windswept. It is nice to see a convincing windswept style.
