Fungus on baby black pine?

Hi,

Is this some sort of infection showing up at the needle bases? I thought I have done a couple of preventative sprays with a 3 in 1 fungus treatment but maybe I didn't..









And while the little ones on show.. look at this cheeky back bud on the outside of the lower spiral (bit hard to see on the phone pic)

Just looks like a bit of algae. Remember fungi don't have chlorophyll.

The needle base seems fine to me. The tips are yellow but those look like old needles. Could be the annual shed
