This tree deserves a progression thread. The tree was originally posted in the species study thread.
If things go as planned, the tree will be developed like a twin trunk. Both trunks will be allowed to grow freely this year to encourage healing of the giant wound. Next year they will be chopped to start the development of the top.

I split the bases of a dozen BCs. Information on how it was done is in the study thread. The big tree with the huge splits will have its own progression thread when I carve the trunk. It should be interesting then.

Tree is growing fast. Branch bending very soon for all the new branches. I may not keep them all but still I want them all at the right angle.
