Instead of elms and faces, I'm calling for maples and foot(s). Why? Because constraints, even arbitrary ones, inspire creativity. Maybe I'll be sorry, but I'm sure I'll be entertained!

So, let's see a maple with your nebari - a foot, shoe, prosthetic, boot-for-a-pot, whatever ya' got. This should be fun! Maybe now some of the more camera shy 'nuts will join in as well

It had potential...but it also had crappy roots. With tridents, the takeaway is to do the important root work early in their development
