Jesus!

I was like.....maybe that's a pencil....
Pretty sure Dave E knows not to leave such a glare on the tape measure!

Is there a trunk so thick in there....or a bunch of skinnies?

Looks like it can develop well.

Crazy small leaves right?
Glad you got one! We can kill them together! Mine is still green, and I don't think 100% happy. Maybe 80%..eh!

I want to see it!

I can't join....as I may have already won!
Lol!

Just don't look up any old threads on them! Very disheartening .
Or.... A lot of problems to solve!

Let's see that HUGE trunk!
HUGE, because mine is half that size and it looks BIG!

What makes you think you need to slip pot it into something a little bigger?
What are the white chunks laying on your soil?
Are you keeping it outside?
I know you are the guy that's supposed to have questions right?
These are the kind of things that will need to be asked in order to help.
These are cool little trees and are tougher than they look.
Brittle,so its hard to bend branches unless you catch the shoots before they harden off. Clip and grow methods work very well for styling.

why i think it needs a bigger pot-the pot seems too small-there's room along the sides of the pot to grow but the roots are exposed on the surface and are above the pot-i think it needs something deeper.

those white things are perlite.
i've researched these and don't have many questions right now-but i'm sure i will.
i'll take any advice you have

I would wait until spring if there is room. Just cover those surface roots up better. Sounds like it was repotted this year sometime.
