I liked your set up very much. Wonder where you got those nursery benches? I got a couple off of ebay when the offer free shipping but they don't do that anymore and the shipping is as much as the bench itself.

Somehow I thought you would have much less than that many trees. 45 is a very decent number of trees to keep one busy. I have more than 45 in one of the bench.... LOL.

I don't see that happening this year.

You got plenty of needles in the lower part of the tree. Also based on the candles haven't even expanded and are about to head into the summer months... I see no reason to chop anything at this point. Wait another month or two would help with thickening the trunk and a healthier tree.

My justification for all this has been.... trees keep me calm and relax. I think am in a denial state.
